As we drove through California, we passed miles and miles of flowing gold in the grasses that lined the pavement. This painting drew inspiration from a blurry iPhone photo that captured the sloping hills and golden landscape. When I think of our road trip from Yosemite to Sequoia National Park, I am most fond of this scene.
