ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Linda.

I love quiet spaces and early mornings. My studio is my home and is just south of Raleigh, North Carolina. I’m currently exploring different mediums, but love using watercolors, gouache and acrylics to paint memories, yours and mine. My inspiration comes from mountains I’ve climbed, cities I’ve visited, and places I’ve been lucky enough to feel the heartbeat of.

I truly believe in encouraging curiosity in knowledge and compassion for others. There is always more to learn. Every one has a story.

Thank you for your interest and support!

ABOUT MY FINE ART

Watercolors: I paint my fine art watercolors on Fabriano Acquarello Watercolor line of Artistico Extra White 100% Cold Pressed Paper. I chose this paper because it is produced without animal by-products and it is a strong and consistent surface. My watercolors are Sennelier l-Aquarelle paints, which I prefer for their lightfast, radiant and smooth pigments.
Acrylic: My acrylic pieces are painted on a variety of surfaces, but I prefer to use Golden and Liquitex Heavy Body acrylics for their lightfast tendencies.

ABOUT MY FINE ART PRINTS

My fine art prints produced in my home studio are printed on Red River Paper’s Aurora Art White 300 paper (affiliate link) , which is 100% cotton and made in the USA. I chose this paper because it reclaims fibers that would have been waste, making it environmentally conscious, is acid-free, archival grade, and has beautiful color and lightfastness.
